localscreenshot is a screenshot API built for AI agents. Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or your own agent to capture a page and it gets a clean image back in seconds with no code; developers also get a REST API.
Clean, location-aware captures
- Hides most cookie banners, ads, pop-ups, chat bubbles and sticky bars, or any element you name.
- Loads pages from 227 countries with a signed technical attestation of the origin country, handy for checking geo-blocking, cloaking, ads, affiliate links or local prices.
- 11 phone, tablet and desktop profiles, full page or a single element, light or dark mode.
- Returns PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF, or JSON with page details, sized down for AI vision.
Integration
Set it up in one line as an MCP server, CLI or API; it works with 40+ tools including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, VS Code, n8n, Zapier and LangChain. It does not solve CAPTCHAs or get past paywalls and logins.
Pricing
You get 50 free credits a month with no card, and failed captures are never charged. Volume plans start at €19 a month for 2,000 screenshots (€59 for 10,000), and a 5,000-credit pack costs €49 and never expires. Prices exclude VAT.
