What is GearUP?
GearUP is an online game booster that lowers ping, lag spikes and packet loss by sending your match traffic along steadier network paths to the game server.
How it reduces lag
Its Adaptive Intelligent Routing (AIR) watches your connection in real time and picks the lowest-latency path. It only works on the network side and never touches the game files, so gameplay stays untouched.
- 3,000+ supported games, including Fortnite, Valorant, PUBG, Call of Duty and Escape from Tarkov.
- Manual server region selection and locking.
- LAN Play for local-network games with friends far away.
- A ping test that shows the likely gain before you install.
Platforms
There's a Windows client (which can also boost consoles), apps for Android and iOS, and the HYPEREV router for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch or Steam Deck.
Pricing
You get a 3-day free trial, then a paid membership that renews automatically. Prices aren't listed on the website; you see them inside the app and they can vary by region.

How to use GearUP
GearUP FAQ
Can using GearUP get me banned?
It shouldn't: GearUP only optimises the network route and never injects code or edits game files, which is why the developer says it's safe with anti-cheat systems.
Does GearUP help if my problem is Wi-Fi or my PC?
Not much. It improves the path between your ISP and the game server; if the bottleneck is your Wi-Fi, hardware or an overloaded server, gains will be small.
How long is the GearUP free trial?
Three days. Cancel before it ends if you don't want the first payment, which is taken shortly before the trial finishes.
Can I use GearUP on PS5 or Xbox?
Yes. You can share the boost from the Windows client or use the HYPEREV router, which plugs into the console by cable.
Is GearUP a VPN?
It also reroutes traffic, but it's built only for games: it speeds up match connections and isn't meant for anonymous browsing.
Can I turn off auto-renewal?
Yes, from your account settings. Note that its terms don't refund periods that have already started.
Does it help when playing on servers abroad?
Yes, that's one of the most common uses: you can lock a server region and GearUP tries to keep that long-distance link stable.
Who makes GearUP?
GearUP Portal Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based company that also makes the HYPEREV router.
