What is OpenGame?
OpenGame is an AI agent for making browser games in 2D (HTML5) and 3D through conversation. You pitch the idea, work out a plan together covering the goal, mechanics, controls and visual style, and then it builds the game, you play it and ask for changes until it feels right.
From brief to playable prototype
Everything happens in Studio, which keeps the project chat, build activity, saved versions and playable previews in one place. It suits focused game loops such as puzzles, platformers, racers and arcade games. You don't need to code, but the exported code is yours to read and edit.
- Game planning is free before you spend any credits.
- Targeted revisions for speed, difficulty, pacing, mechanics or visuals.
- 2D games download as a single HTML file, 3D projects as a ZIP.
- Publish a playable link to share or embed.
Library, templates and extra tools
The site hosts a library of games you can play without signing in, templates that show the prompt behind them, and flagship titles built by the team. There are also creative tools such as a sprite sheet maker, image-to-3D and a city generator, plus agent skills published on GitHub.
Pricing and limits
Playing and planning are free; building or revising a game costs credits (10 per standard generation). One-time packs start at $9 for 60 credits and never expire, with optional subscriptions on top. OpenGame itself warns that generated prototypes can be buggy, that credits pay for attempts rather than finished games, and that touch support varies by project. It's a good fit for creators with no coding background and anyone who wants to test a game idea quickly.

OpenGame FAQ
What kinds of games can I make with OpenGame?
2D HTML5 games and 3D browser prototypes such as puzzles, platformers, racers and arcade games. Starting from one clear mechanic and growing from there works best.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe gameplay, controls and goals, and you can edit the downloaded code if you want more control.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Public games are playable without an account and planning your own game is free; generating it requires credits.
How many games do credits cover?
Each standard generation, revisions included, costs 10 credits. Credits pay for attempts, not a guaranteed number of finished games.
What if my game has bugs?
Describe the problem and ask the agent to fix it. That new generation uses credits unless the failure was on the service side.
Can I download and share my game?
Yes, as HTML for 2D or a ZIP for 3D, and you can publish a link to share or embed it.
Do I need a subscription?
No. One-time packs with non-expiring credits are available, and subscriptions are optional.
Do the games work on phones?
It depends on the project. Mention touch controls in your brief if you need them and test on those devices.
