Generate Vedic and Western birth charts based on your exact birth minute. Resolve future queries by specifying the schools and classical rules applied.
What is Kundaly?
Kundaly is an advanced AI-powered astrology platform that combines technical precision with the classic traditions of Vedic and Western astrology. Its primary function is to generate a detailed map of the sky at the exact moment of the user's birth to provide personalized answers to inquiries regarding their professional future, personal relationships, and auspicious times for making major decisions. Unlike generic horoscopes based solely on sun signs, this tool uses precise astronomical data to calculate complete and unique birth charts for each individual.
Kundaly’s operation is based on the rigorous application of classic rules extracted from ancient texts. The technology utilizes JPL DE440 ephemerides to ensure that planetary positions are accurate to the minute and place of birth. One of its most distinctive features is transparency in data processing: every AI-generated response explains the underlying astrological reasoning, citing the specific technical rule and the school of thought followed, whether it be Parashara, Jaimini, KP, or Bhrigu Nandi Nadi. This allows users not only to receive an interpretation but also to understand the logic behind each astrological prediction.
Its functional capabilities and practical benefits include:
- Multi-school Analysis: The system allows users to consult the so-called "Council of Sages," where different traditions answer the same question to compare perspectives and levels of agreement.
- Dasha Chronology: It provides a detailed breakdown of the planetary periods governing the user's life, making it easier to identify time windows for success in employment, studies, or travel.
- Birth Time Rectification: It includes a tool for users who do not know their exact birth time, allowing them to adjust it by cross-referencing past life events.
- Compatibility and Matchmaking: In-depth relationship assessment using the 36-guna Ashtakuta system, Bhrigu Nandi Nadi partner readings, and Western synastry.
- Comprehensive Technical Calculations: It automatically generates the 16 divisional charts, Ṣaḍbala, Aṣṭakavarga, and KP cusps.
For the user seeking a self-knowledge tool, Kundaly offers a private environment where data is not used to train external models. It is accessible from any device, whether a computer or a mobile phone, running directly in the browser as a progressive web app. The platform positions itself as an informative and reflective resource, integrating daily panchang, searches for auspicious moments (Muhūrta), and alerts regarding relevant planetary transits, helping users navigate personal energetic trends with a solid technical foundation.

Kundaly FAQ
What is Kundaly and how does this astrology tool work?
Kundaly is a platform that calculates your birth chart based on the exact minute of your birth and allows you to conduct astrological consultations using classical rules from various traditions.
Do I need a monthly subscription to use Kundaly?
No subscription is required, as the system operates using prepaid credits that never expire, and access to your basic birth chart is completely free.
Can I check my chart if I don't know my exact birth time?
Yes, you can start with just your birth date, but some data will be provisional until you use the rectification tool to adjust the time based on specific life events.
What makes Kundaly’s answers different from other horoscope apps?
Every answer explains the technical reasoning and the classical rule applied, while also specifying the school of astrology that serves as the foundation for the interpretation.
Why is my sign in Kundaly different from the one shown on other websites?
This occurs because the tool primarily uses Vedic astrology and the sidereal zodiac, which typically shifts signs back one place compared to the Western tropical zodiac.
What topics are excluded from consultations on the platform?
For ethical reasons, the tool never provides predictions regarding dates of death, nor does it offer medical diagnoses or financial advice for investing money.
How many credits do I receive when creating a new account on Kundaly?
Upon confirming your email, you will receive twenty-four free credits—typically equivalent to three in-depth answers—so you can test the service.
Are my data and the consultations in my account private?
Your birth charts, notes, and life events are completely private; only you have access to them unless you explicitly choose to share them.
How can I install the Kundaly app on my mobile phone?
You can add it to your home screen directly from the Safari browser on iPhone or Chrome on Android without needing to go through an app store.
