What is Devin Desktop?
Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf) is Cognition's code editor built around running several coding agents at once. From one window you plan a task, hand it to local and cloud agents, review what they changed and take the work all the way to a pull request without leaving the editor.
One place to manage your agents
The Agent Command Center lays out every session as a board or a list, grouped into spaces and tagged by status: running, waiting for review, waiting on CI or done. You can tell at a glance which agent needs you and which one already has a PR ready. Thanks to the Agent Client Protocol (ACP), different models and agents can sit side by side in the same workflow.
A real IDE when you need one
When it is time to read code yourself, there is a full IDE with syntax highlighting, unlimited Tab completions, inline edits and a debugger, so you can trace and fix anything an agent ships. Paid plans add Devin Cloud, the hosted version of Devin, plus models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others alongside Cognition's own SWE-2.
Who it suits
It fits developers who already hand work to agents and want one spot to coordinate them, and teams that need central billing, an admin dashboard and hooks into Slack, Linear, Jira, GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
Pricing
The Free plan includes a light agent quota. Pro is $20 a month, Max is $200 a month and Teams is $80 a month plus $40 per developer seat; Enterprise is quoted separately.
