What is Agentry?
Agentry is an open-source project (Apache-2.0) that sits between your PostHog Cloud project and the coding agent you already run, such as Codex, Claude Code or a GitHub Actions runner. PostHog holds the analytics and errors, your agent edits the repository, and Agentry supplies the missing layer: plans, approvals, deploy correlation and receipts.
What it does
It audits the telemetry you already collect, maps it back to source and surfaces errors and product opportunities. Your agent then proposes reviewable changes, and after deployment Agentry measures what happened. It keeps historical evidence seen in PostHog separate from signals verified in current source, so it never draws conclusions from an event name alone.

- What is still missing: events, properties or deploy proof.
Humans stay in control
PostHog access is read-only via OAuth, and the agent does not touch source until you approve the exact plan hash. Agentry does not host PostHog, proxy events or run a hidden model of its own; inference happens in your agent. Only PostHog Cloud is supported today.
Pricing
The open-source edition is free and includes the CLI and a self-hostable control plane. The hosted Nerve plan is $19 a month per account, with no per-project, per-event or per-seat limits.

No. Your agent does the inference; Agentry provides bounded data, plans, approvals and receipts.
Can it change my code without permission?
No. The agent cannot edit the repo until you approve the exact hash of the proposed plan.
What access does it need in PostHog?
